It Is Your Fault

Nine’s delivery is intentionally direct and unapologetic—not to dismiss struggle, but to provoke thought. If his words spark anger, frustration, or resistance, sit with it—it’s a reflection of the power you hold. This piece challenges you to shift from blame to ownership, because the only person who can change your situation… is you.

Whatever you don’t like in your life … it’s your fault.

Whatever unfortunate events have happened to you … it’s your fault.

All the pain you’ve ever felt … also your fault.

Whether the statements above are “correct” is irrelevant, just consider for a moment:

“Anything that happens to me is my fault.”

Repeat it.

“Anything that happens to me is my fault.”

“Anything...that happens to me... is my fault.”

Has it begun to sound empowering yet?

Knowing that you are the only one who can impact your experience?

Realizing you aren’t at the mercy of anyone?

Recognizing you never have to play defense?

God only tells you yes, whatever you’re receiving you asked for it. Either directly or subliminally.

This isn’t about assigning blame for circumstances, its about owning your responsibility to change it.

Every moment you avoid ownership is a moment you postpone your growth.

Be intentional; act in alignment.

Stop giving your power away and …

Take responsibility for your current situation.

Creative Prescription

Identify one area of your creative journey where you’ve been blaming circumstances, people, or lack of opportunity. Then ask yourself:

"What’s one action I can take today that moves me forward—without waiting on anything or anyone?"
